We have tentatively set up another clinic day with Debbie Lane on October 4, 2008. If you would like to attend, please let me or Lyne Marcotte at lynem@bellsouth.net. know by September 27 and we can schedule a time. Right now we just have four times available so let us know as early as you can. All are invited. The ride cost will be $80 to Debbie Lane and an arena fee of $5 to Sharon Turner Kherlopian. Please contact me to schedule a ride time. Once you are scheduled you have a financial obligation to pay the clinician!!! No schedule changes will be made after Friday PM. Following is Debbies Biography:
Debbie Lane is a professional rider, trainer and instructor. She began her riding at the age of 6, came up through the ranks of Pony Club (a "B" graduate) and competed in dressage, combined training and hunter/jumper shows until she graduated from high school. Over the years, Debbie rode with Col. Hans Moeller, Michael Handler (whose father was the director of the Spanish Riding School at the time), Gen Jonathan Burton, Natalie Lamping, Ann Gribbons, Karin Schluter and trained for 6 years with Robert Dover. Debbie was Robert's assistant trainer for the last 2 years she was with him and she was responsible for training his horses and teaching his students while he was competing in the Barcelona Olympics. Since, Robert, Debbie has had training with Kathy Connelly and Betsy Steiner. Debbie has trained 7 horses to the Grand Prix so far.
Debbie has a genuine love for teaching and training. She takes tremendous pride in seeing her students progress through the levels. Her calm, patient way of teaching gives students confidence and helps them to train their horses up through the training scale.
